Author Guidelines
General Guidelines for Manuscript Submission
The general guidelines for manuscript submission to Al-Mustasyar: Journal of Islamic Law are as follows:
- Please prepare your manuscript according to the author guidelines of Al-Mustasyar: Journal of Islamic Law.
- The manuscript must be an original scholarly work in the form of research articles or literature review articles in the field of Islamic Law.
- A research article should consist of:
a). Title
b). Author(s) Name
c). Author Affiliation
d). Email Address
e). Abstract
f). Introduction
g). Methods
h). Results and Discussion
i). Conclusion
j). References - A literature review article should consist of:
a). Title
b). Author(s) Name
c). Author Affiliation
d). Email Address
e). Abstract
f). Introduction
g). Discussion
h). Conclusion
i). References - Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- The manuscript should be between 10–20 pages.
- Manuscripts should be typed using Book Antiqua, font size 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing, on A4 paper size with margins of 2.54 cm on all sides.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s formatting and writing guidelines may be returned to the author before entering the review process.
- The submitted manuscript must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism or unethical publication practices.
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
- Article files must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.DOC or .DOCX). PDF submissions are not accepted.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) available on the Al-Mustasyar: Journal of Islamic Law e-journal portal ( https://almustasyar.staibaitularqom.ac.id ). Authors are required to register first by selecting the Register menu before submitting their manuscripts.
